Run Terry Run 🇨🇦
More than four decades after Terry Fox set out to run across Canada, his story is returning to the big screen.
Run Terry Run had its world premiere at TIFF on Sept. 19 at Roy Thomson Hall, with Terry’s brother Darrell Fox, Canadian athletes and members of the Fox family in attendance.
Directed by Canadian filmmaker Sean Menard, the 108-minute documentary uses never-before-seen footage to show a more personal side of Terry and what it actually took to complete the Marathon of Hope.
This year is the 46th annual Terry Fox Run, when thousands of Canadians in nearly 600 communities across the country walk, run and wheel to raise money for cancer research. More than 10,000 schools are also expected to participate in Terry Fox School Runs this fall.
