With summer behind us and cooler temperatures setting in, it’s the perfect time and weather to enjoy more outdoor adventures!
If you’re into hiking through colourful forests, fishing in tranquil lakes or relaxing by a campfire under the stars, there are plenty of ways to stay active and connect with nature.
Here are some of the best fall camping spots in the GTHA.
Fushimi Lake
Located in Hearst, Ontario, Fushimi Lake Provincial Park is an ideal camping destination for those looking to escape the city for a few days. The park, nestled along the shores of Fushimi Lake, offers a variety of campsites for RVs, cars, and tents, as well as lodging rentals.

Samuel de Champlain
Located in Mattawa, Ontario, Samuel De Champlain Provincial Park is an excellent choice for a weekend getaway. Situated along the historic Mattawa River fur trade route in the scenic Mattawa Valley, the park offers campsites for RVs, cars, and tents.

Murphy’s Point

Fifty Point Conservation Area
