A beer bar concept now has two locations in Toronto again thanks to recently opening up their newest spot.

Duke’s Refresher had locations in Toronto at St. Lawrence Market and on Yonge, but the Yonge location closed down. The St. Lawrence Market location remained, but it’s once again no longer the only Duke’s in the city.

The pub is known for their wide range of beers on tap, with this new location having over 15 beers on tap and a variety of craft beer available in tall cans. They also have cocktails and $5 shots all day, every day including maple and peanut butter whiskey shots.

Of course, they have a typical pub-style menu, with options like a range of poutines and sliders along with salads, bowls and burgers. They’re serving pizza from brand Alice Fazooli’s as well as chicken from their own 2020 pop-up takeout kitchen, Renegade Chicken.

Brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with options like Eggs Benny, breakfast poutine, French toast and chilaquiles.

The space in Riverside where Duke’s Refresher now stands was once home to another bar concept, providing the brick and mortar representation for cider company Brickworks.

Duke’s Refresher just opened about a week ago at 709 Queen St. E. in Riverside.
