Toronto has just added one more super fancy hotel to its roster with the opening of Revery, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

This is the premier of Curio Collection by Hilton in Toronto, a portfolio of distinctive, curated, world class experiences in the most exciting locations in the world. Revery has 244 rooms and theatrical design, and encompasses lobby bar Muse and French restaurant Deauville Club.

Checking into the hotel is already an immersive experience, with check-in pods located in a “box office” area with marquee lights, checkerboard tile and big screen backdrops playing classic black and white movies and historic footage of Toronto. Even the rooms are a nod to old Hollywood dressing rooms with curved full-length mirrors, glam lighting, ultra high gloss finishes and marble accents.

If you’re not staying at the hotel, you can still check out Muse Lobby Bar with a street-facing entrance. The glam, dramatic design sense carries through here with ruby reds and statement lighting, and this part of the hotel is their take on a “concession stand” with coffee, cocktails and small bites.

The Deauville Club is a full-on French-inspired restaurant within the hotel that also embraces the Hollywood glam theme with oak herringbone floors and violet-infused marble accents. The menu includes French classics like steak tartare, Croque Madames, salade Nicoise and duck along with crowd pleasers like burgers, pasta and curry.

Revery also encompasses several intimate private spaces: the Gupta Room, the Cinema Room and Easton’s Boardroom.

“With its fast-growing portfolio of over 160 properties in top destinations, each Curio Collection by Hilton is celebrated for its remarkable character and one-of-a-kind experiences,” said Jenna Hackett, senior vice president, Hilton Lifestyle Brands, in a press release. “As the first Curio Collection hotel in Ontario, Revery’s guests will soon enjoy immersive, remarkable stays in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District.”

Revery opened at 92 Peter St. on June 4.
