Japan’s largest haircut chain that has 700 locations worldwide just opened their first ever Canadian store in Toronto.

QB House was founded in Japan, and has hundreds of locations in places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and New York. They’re known for their affordability and speed where they skip steps like shampooing and shaving to save time, money and resources for both the salon and the customer.

They also don’t take bookings in advance. But cuts are just $35, so they’re definitely onto something.

Their quick service system entails checking in on an iPad, getting a text when it’s your turn, and then getting your quick cut and cleanup.

They can definitely pack in the haircuts this way: stylist of 25 years Masahiro Tajima once pulled off 70 haircuts in one day.

QB House caters to any gender, and offers quick refresh cuts like undercuts, fade cuts and medium layered cuts. All QB stylists are trained using the same rigorous system, so their services are reliably uniform worldwide.

The Toronto location of QB House is now open in Yorkville at 840 Yonge St.
