A global seafood restaurant is opening their first ever location in Toronto

An internationally known seafood restaurant is gearing up to open their first ever Toronto location.

Estiatorio Milos is a Greek restaurant specializing in seafood with locations around the world in Dubai, Athens, London, New York City, Montreal, Las Vegas and Miami.

The Milos website says the restaurant is “devoted to cooking fish perfectly,” and their menu centres around seafood with options like raw dishes, whole fish, fish filets, oysters and caviar, but they also serve a wide range of meat dishes, salads and Greek classics.

The Toronto location will be opening in a restored and transformed space that will be decorated with blue ceramic tile, architectural elements, Greek-inspired white plaster walls and frieze, and Greek relics and artifacts.

Milos also operates xenodocheio Milos, the first luxurious gastronomy 5-star hotel in Athens, and Milos at Sea, a 113-foot yacht with a large dining area and four cabins that can accommodate up to 10 guests.

The first estiatorio Milos was founded in Montreal in 1979, and though the restaurant concept has traversed the globe since then, they haven’t opened a Toronto location until now.

“Opening a new location in Canada, where our journey began is incredibly meaningful to us. For years, people have asked us to come to Toronto, and we finally found the right location, at the right time,” said Milos chef Costas Spiliadis.

“We knew instinctively that Milos would fit perfectly in this very special building which has a wonderful heritage, much like the Greek cuisine and culture that we have such a passion for.”

The Toronto location of estiatorio Milos located at 330 Bay St. will open on Sept. 26. They’re now accepting reservations.
