A water park in the GTA is making a splash soon with their first “dive in” movie night.

Unlike a typical drive-in, instead of taking in a movie on the big screen while sitting in your car, you can do it while sitting in a refreshing wave pool.

Wet’n’Wild is hosting their first dive-in movie night at their Big Surf wave pool with a showing of Kung Fu Panda 4. Float around on an inflatable or chill on a chair while watching the movie, and if you find yourself in need of a floatie you can rent one for $5.

The best part is, before the movie starts from 7:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the pool will be operating with waves for a little bit of summer fun. Kung Fu Panda 4 starts at 9 p.m.

Outside food won’t be permitted into the event, but snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Parking is free after 7 p.m. for the dive-in movie.

Admission to the movie is separate, and costs $15 or $12 for passholders.

There are also lots of other fun events taking place at Wet’n’Wild to close out the summer like bubble parties and poolside DJs on weekends, meet and greets with Mermaid MiShelle, and a 21-plus after hours party with glow foam and alcoholic drinks.

Kung Fu Panda 4 is screening at the wave pool at Wet’n’Wild water park on Aug. 1, and if you miss that they’re planning another dive-in movie night for Aug. 16.
