Things are about to get hellish in Toronto as a Halloween-themed pop-up takes over a bar.
Hellbar bills itself as “Toronto’s most diabolical resto-lounge,” which will transform Offworld Bar (which is normally space-themed) into a fun and freaky hellscape.

The bar is already set up for a themed environment, so it will easily slip into the depths of the inferno to evolve into a more scary space.
Not only will the bar be a bloody good spot for some Halloween-themed fun with all kinds of creepy decor, there will also be lots of eerie events. There will be Tarot Tuesdays, cocktail classes, campfire ghost stories, a Halloween market, a “The Devil Made Me Do It” confessional party, and to close things out on Oct. 31, a “blood rave” party.
Hellbar will also be screening movies throughout the pop-up, with Alien on Oct. 6, Event Horizon on Oct. 13, Hellraiser on Oct. 20 and Evil Dead 2 on Oct. 27.
There will also be lots of special food and drinks at Hellbar to make sure you’re not hellishly hungry.

Food options include the Beelzeburger, Fries of the Damned, Cursed Curried Tofu and black Darkest Doom Spaghetti. They’ll also be serving a Satan’s Suicide Meatball Roulette where two out of six meatballs are “cursed with a heat so intense it’ll haunt your nightmares” so you can play a game of chance with whoever you’re dining with.
For cocktails, there are options like the Plague of Locusts garnished with an edible grasshopper or a Seven Deadly Gins flight of seven one-ounce gin cocktails that’s perfect for sharing. There’s also the Soul Contract priced at $16.66, or $6.66 plus the price of your soul.

“Should you choose the latter, we will present you with a legally binding contract of sale for your soul, which will be signed and witnessed by our staff, prior to delivering your drink,” reads the Hellbar website.
There are also Halloween-themed mocktails, plus beer, cider and wine.
Hellbar is now open at 739 Queen St. W. for the month of October.
