You don’t have to wait until summertime to enjoy a massive outdoor craft beer festival in Toronto.

The Roundhouse Winter Craft Beer Fest returns this month with over 40 craft beverage vendors serving all kinds of craft beer as well as wine, cider and even non-alcoholic options.

Local vendors at the festival will include Steam Whistle, Blood Brothers, Slake, Little Beasts, Willibald, Boshkung, Cowbell, Junction Craft, Burdock, Blue Lobster, Sandbagger, Two Loons, Something in the Water, Left Field and Collective Arts.

You’re encouraged to embrace the winter spirit by bundling up in fun apres ski gear like retro snowsuits and flannel, and there will also be gourmet food and entertainment. You can even win prizes for the best throwback looks at a Retro Ski Gear Contest.

Festival tokens are good for food from five local trucks or drink samples priced at $3 per five-ounce pour. Entertainment includes live music and a dance party with a DJ, and there will also be games and photo stations.

While you should definitely bundle up for this outdoor event, there will be fire pits and indoor warming stations available to keep you cozy and warm while sipping ice cold drinks.

“The Roundhouse Winter Craft Beer Fest was the only outdoor event of its kind when we had our first festival in 2014. It’s a celebration of both great beer and Canadian winters,” says Greg Taylor, CEO of Steam Whistle.

“Every year we get to bring the province’s best local beer, cider and spirits together to party in the cold wearing neon retro ski gear, what more could you ask for?”

Roundhouse Winter Craft Beer Fest will take place at Roundhouse Park on Feb. 22 from noon to 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online.
