A 23,000-square-foot, 800-seat restaurant is set to open in Toronto’s waterfront area.

Queens Harbour is slated to transform a historic brick building into a major landmark, which will be one of the largest restaurant investments in the waterfront’s history.

The restaurant will serve what collaborating chefs Robert Balint and Julien Laffargue have dubbed “MediterrAsian cuisine” which should include options like sharing mezzes, charcoal-grilled dishes, sushi and raw bar offerings, all complemented by a cocktail program.

“MediterrAsian food emerges when the jungles of Asia and the waters of the Mediterranean connect,” reads a press release.

The restaurant will have the nation’s largest retractable roof, multiple private dining spaces, an outdoor terrace, and according to the release, “three uniquely designed dining spaces with unparalleled views of the CN Tower, the Harbour, and Lake Ontario.”

The founding team behind Queens Harbour is made up of restaurateurs Kevin Jazexhi, Ali Badreddine and Iris Jazexhi, and chef Robert Balint.

Queens Harbour should be opening at 245 Queens Quay W. around spring 2025.
