A Michelin-recommended restaurant just opened a brand new location in Toronto

One of Toronto’s best restaurants that’s been praised by the Michelin Guide has just opened the doors to a completely new location in the city.
Aloette now has a new location in a different area, with the original located on Spadina for years. The restaurant is known for its upscale take on a diner feel, with options on their menu like burgers, fried chicken and lemon meringue pie.
This location will be a bit different from the first Aloette, though, as this new space is offering breakfast whereas the original location only offers weekend brunch.
Along with their breakfast offerings they’re also doing grab-and-go bakery items, and the new location is also open for lunch, happy hour and dinner.
Items on the breakfast menu at the new location include overnight coconut oats, grapefruit brulee, egg breakfast, omelettes, avocado toast, and a breakfast sandwich with a western omelette and gouda on a cheddar biscuit.
For lunch, you can snag Aloette favourites like their iceberg wedge salad, burger and fried chicken along with features like steak frites, grilled yellowfin tuna and rainbow trout, as well as a lamb skewer, seared scallop and pesto fusilli. Their dinner menu is very similar, but has some additions like Aloette’s foie gras parfait.
Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., lunch starts at 11:30 a.m., happy hour is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 5 p.m. Happy hour specials are $12 cocktails and glasses of wine, and $6 draft beer.
The new Aloette location can be found at food hall Table. The original Spadina location of Aloette is known for its decor, and this new space is no different with stunning interior design that includes a backlit bar and open kitchen.
In addition to the original Spadina location of Aloette, the same team also operates more high-end restaurant Alo, as well as several locations of a more casual Aloette Go takeout concept.
Aloette’s new location is now open at 81 Bay St. on the fourth floor. Take care to note they’re currently open Monday to Friday.
