A new cocktail bar serving Asian fusion cuisine just opened in Toronto

A cocktail bar with a speakeasy feel just opened their doors in Toronto, and they’re serving a menu of Asian fusion food.
No Vacancy is tucked behind a neon sign on the busy Ossington strip. While cocktails are a major focus at the space, their food menu is also nothing to sneeze at with a range of Asian fusion offerings.
The best part is, they’re open until 2 a.m. almost every day of the week, from Tuesday to Sunday.
No Vacancy’s robust drinks list has a full highball section that includes a lemon sour, mango highball and oolong highball all made with barley shochu, and there’s also the Tan-Taka-Tan made with shiso shochu and the Dayame made with sweet potato shochu.
Imaginatively named cocktails include the Unicorn Sparkles with vodka, yuzu sake and prosecco, the Cowboy Bebop with Wild Turkey, brandy, plum wine, oolong and toasted coconut, and the Killer Tomato with tequila, Aperol, tomato water, ginger, white pepper, and vermouth infused with bell pepper.

Their drinks menu is rounded out by a curated selection of sake, wine, beer and cider.
Their food menu is divided in to raw, veggie, small plate and large plate options. Raw plates include hamachi, bluefin and a smoked oyster, and veggies include options like a maitake and leeks dish.
For snacks there’s uni toast, and also “fish and chips”: confit potato served with hamachi tartare, ikura and nori. A tight selection of “big eats” consists of bucatini with egg, pork belly and uni, coppa with berry compote, and a beef rib dish with grits.
The space is designed as thoughtfully as the menu, with lots of rich reds and warm brown tones, brick, tons of texture and just a hint of pop art.
No Vacancy is now open at 74 Ossington Ave.
