Lots of themed bars are always popping up in Toronto, especially around the holidays. This season, we’re getting one more with a totally brand new pop-up Christmas cocktail bar.
Ginger’s comes to us from one of the city’s top bakeries, Le Dolci, so you know there will be delicious sweet treats. This year, the bakery is transforming part of their space into a festive themed bar.
The upper level of the studio is being transformed into a pop-up cocktail bar with all kinds of decorations, holiday themed cocktails and mocktails, music, treats and photo ops.
Options for cocktails should include a Snow Globe Frosty, Sugar Plum Spritz, Gingerbread Martini and Sugar Cookie Shooter, and alcohol-free beverages on the menu should include options like hot chocolate, a Jingle Berry Sparkler, Jolly Apple Fizz and a “Hug in a Mug” drink.
The food menu should include items like maple pumpkin scones, Snickers butter rarts, sea salt chocolate chip cookies, Fererro Rocher logs, iced lemon and cranberry cookies, ginger molasses cookies and pumpkin pie butter tarts.
The best part is, $5 from every reservation will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Reservations are available online for $25, and the other $20 goes towards your bill. Tables will also be available for walk-ins. The pop-up bar is all ages before 8 p.m. and 19-plus after that.
“I’ve always loved the delicious elements of the holiday season, from festive drinks to Christmas desserts, especially anything and everything ginger and gingerbread related. This year I wanted to do something extravagant and experiential to celebrate the holiday season in the gorgeous upstairs space at our Le Dolci Studio, which led to the creation of Ginger’s Cocktail Bar,” Le Dolci and Ginger’s owner Lisa Sanguedolce tells YourCityWithIN.com.
Ginger’s is popping up at Le Dolci at 12 Sousa Mendes St. starting Nov. 15 and runs until Dec. 24.
