A pizzeria hidden inside a doughnut shop just opened in Toronto

A pizza project that was hidden within a crepe shop that closed has now reopened in a new secret location: a doughnut shop.
Rose Pizza was once located inside Millie Creperie, which has since shut down. Rose has now found a new spot for making pizzas, and it’s not far from where they originally operated.
The project was founded by Justin Xerri as a ghost kitchen when he found himself out of work after 10 years in the industry in 2020. His resume includes restaurants Good Son and Planta.
Rose Pizza is now operating out of Dipped in Kensington. The location isn’t the only thing that’s changed, though: at Millie, Rose was doing more round pizzas, and now they’re shifting to rectangular Detroit-style pies.
Pizzas on the menu include eggplant parm, pepperoni, and mushroom bacon truffle. The eggplant parm pizza comes topped with whipped ricotta and balsamic glaze, the pepperoni has pickled jalapenos and hot honey, and the mushroom bacon truffle pizza has caramelized onions and truffle aioli.
They also offer a signature bomba Calabrese dipping sauce. Orders can be placed online for pickup.
Rose Pizza has now reopened at 161 Baldwin St.
