A bar for bowling, drinks and snacks is opening another new location in Toronto.

Some people might remember back in the day when Ballroom had just one location in the heart of Toronto, but now they’ve expanded to several locations downtown.

The bar combines nightlife and bowling, offering food like Korean cauliflower, garlic knots, burgers, steak frites and pizza, alongside drinks like lychee martinis, ranch waters, beer and wine.

Ballroom Bowl is now located at John Street, Yonge and Bloor, and their latest location smack dab in the middle of Yonge and Dundas.

The new location also does half price bowling from noon to 4 p.m. with brunch served on Saturday and Sunday, and offers Thursday Night Strikes with $6 bar rail, tequila shots and draft beer, plus half price bottles of Prosecco and wine, as well as a DJ spinning from 7 p.m. to midnight.

There’s also something different about this new location: instead of 10 pin bowling like the other locations, Yonge and Dundas offers duckpin bowling with smaller, wider pins and a smaller, lighter ball plus three rolls per frame instead of two.

Rates for the new Yonge and Dundas location are $41.25 per person per 90 minutes or $55 per person per two hours from Sunday to Thursday, and $48.75 per person per 90 minutes and $65 per person per two hours on Friday and Saturday.

Ballroom Bowl is now open at 10 Dundas St. E.
