A restaurant that claims to be Canada’s first Karahi restaurant just opened their first ever downtown Toronto location.
Karahi Point has been serving Pakistani and South Asian food for a decade now. A karahi is a kind of cooking pot and dish made in that pot, popular in South Asia.
The restaurant has over a dozen locations in Etobicoke, North York, Richmond Hill, Thorncliffe, Mississauga, Waterloo, Windsor, Brampton, Ottawa, Oakville, Ajax and even Montreal and Edmonton, but they’ve never opened a restaurant in downtown Toronto.
Now, the wait is over for downtowners looking to get a bite of their tasty eats.
Karahi Point just opened up a special express location in downtown Toronto.
They’re serving up all their usual Pakistani flavours in a quick takeout format with limited dine-in options. Menu items include kebabs as well as veg and non-veg platters with curries, rice, salad and dessert.
Karahi Point’s express location is now open at 736 Bay St.
