Lots of places in Toronto serve great food, but not all of them wow with their presentation.
The Lost Land aims to do exactly that, serving up food and expensive cocktails with over-the-top fancy presentation that makes everything almost too pretty to consume.
“The Lost Land is a hidden gem in downtown Toronto, where fine dining meets nature. Located near Yonge Street, our restaurant features stunning views of Lake Ontario and Dundas Square, with a serene sky garden offering a tranquil escape,” reads the description of Lost Land on OpenTable.
“Chefs Larry and Cesar craft inventive dishes that blend global flavors with traditional techniques, using only the finest ingredients. Whether dining in our lush indoor space or the enchanting garden, each visit promises a unique and memorable culinary experience.”

Starters might include options like foie gras and tuna crudo, and for mains, you might find options on the menu like duck, steak, pasta and seafood.
The food is showstopping, but the cocktails still manage to steal the spotlight, including a few “magnum cocktail” options.

Most cocktails are priced well over $20, like the Singularity with habanero-infused mezcal, blackberry-infused blanco tequila and clarified grapefruit juice, and the $35 Misty Falls with black-tea-infused gin, herbal liqueur, eucalyptus tea and sumac.
Their “magnum libations” are the $85 Sixth Sense with ginger-infused gin, pandan juice, a lemongrass tincture, kombu saline solution and a roasted corn tea syrup, and the $83 Final Bliss made with black-tea-infused rum, amaro, lemon, Earl Grey syrup, pineapple and cucumber.
The Lost Land is now open at 146 Yonge St.
