A restaurant that serves unlimited fries is opening a second location in Toronto

A restaurant that only serves a prix fixe menu that comes with unlimited fries has announced they will be opening a second Toronto location.
J’s Steak Frites exclusively serves a prix fixe menu of house bread, a green salad, a 10-ounce AAA NY Striploin, their legendary unlimited fries and butter sauce. Owned by Jad Sfeir and Tara Tang, the latter is also the pastry chef who creates desserts like chocolate cake and blueberry macarons.
The original J’s opened at 1198 Queen Street West in April 2021, but now they’re opening a brand new location in the space formerly occupied by Italian restaurant Quadro Ristorante in Little Italy.
The space will have a newly renovated Parisian-style interior with 40 seats, a six-seat bar and an open dessert kitchen visible from the dining room.
There will also be a secretive, lush 50-seat back garden patio, as well as a brand new cocktail menu at the new location. Four street-side seats inspired by Paris will be available for dessert and cocktails only.
The new location of J’s Steak Frites at 577 College St. should open this month.
