A beautiful new Turkish restaurant with jaw-dropping interior design has just opened up in Toronto.

Rumeli loosely translates to land of the Romans, the historical name for a region of Southeastern Europe. The new restaurant serves Turkish classics in an elegant space.

The restaurant has posted several photos of their interior, which has luxurious flooring and seating, lots of greenery, blingy chandeliers and an impressive, sleek bar that looks to have a pastry case built into it.

The space is full of jewel tones, organic materials and textures, plush fabrics, metallics and shiny, reflective elements.

As for the menu, Rumeli is serving traditional Turkish dishes like a beef shish plate and mix platters. The dishes are exquisitely presented with flaming elements on the plate, and all meats are 100 per cent halal.

Rumeli is now open at 4700 Dufferin St.
