All-you-can-eat tacos at this popular Mexican restaurant in Oakville

Big changes are coming to Por Vida in Oakville, including more chances to enjoy their all-you-can-eat tacos during December.

The popular restaurant, known for their delicious Mexican food in the waterfront Bronte neighbourhood, recently announced that their all-you-can-eat tacos are now available every single weekday from 12 to 3 p.m. this month, as well as during dinner service on Mondays.

For just $35, guests can enjoy as many tacos as they can handle from Por Vida’s selection of zesty tacos in locally made tortillas, as well as an appetizer and dessert to round out the meal.

Fill your tacos with savoury grilled steak, slow-roasted pork, authentic pollo asado (chicken in a citrusy marinade with Mexican spices), or roasted cauliflower for the vegetarian taco lovers. Some exclusions apply for octopus, shrimp and lamb tacos.

Oakville foodies will also be happy to know that the restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner seven days a week for the month of December! These extended offerings are only here for the month, so be sure to stop by soon.

Por Vida is also one of a handful of restaurants that will cover your ride all throughout December, with up to $15 off your meal for diners who arrive via Uber, Lyft or taxi.

Beyond tacos, the restaurant’s menu offers a wide selection of traditional Mexican flavours and shareable plates, like their chilaquiles, grilled calamari, duck carnitas wings and more, with a number of salsas and guacamoles to add even more flavour to these dishes.

Every meal can be paired perfectly with a drink from Por Vida’s bar, which has a variety of different cocktails, tequilas, margaritas, and multiple options for cerveza and vino (beer and wine).

One of their most recommended drinks is the Devil’s Avocado, a sweet mixture of liquor with pineapple juice, lemon, and fresh avocado. There are also several non-alcoholic drinks on offer.

Since opening in 2020, Por Vida has quickly become one of Oakville’s most popular restaurants with a reputation for using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Chef Eduardo Juarez travelled to various restaurants in Mexico to see first-hand how good Mexican cuisine is made, then brought everything he learned to Por Vida.
