Calling all Tim Burton lovers! If you’re the type that likes watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride and Beetlejuice all October long, there’s an immersive experience happening right now in Toronto that’s perfect for you.
The Burton Experience is a pop-up bar themed around the works of Tim Burton. The experience includes a welcome drink, a themed dining experience with special cocktails, performances and Halloween activities.
A short menu of snacks includes the Vampire Bangle Onion Ring with chipotle mayo, the Spoooo-tine and Bloody Meatballs. On the drink menu, there’s the Black Magic made with amaretto and activated charcoal, the Final Destination cleverly inspired by the classic Paper Plane, and the Witches’ Brew with melon liqueur and Cointreau that’s served with dry ice for an eerie fog effect.

The best part is, you’re encouraged to dress up in your zaniest Burton-inspired costumes. Cosplayers and fashionistas, this is your time to shine as Jack Skellington, Edward Scissorhands or whatever your cold black heart desires.
Tickets are available online for $25.57 for time slots from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Burton Experience is popping up at Novotel in Toronto from now until Oct. 31.
