April 3 Weather: Above-normal temperatures forecast for Toronto

After making it through snow and heavy rain, Toronto should get some warm weather on Thursday.

This week has all types of weather in the forecast. On Wednesday, Toronto and much of Ontario were under two weather warnings for up to 50 mm of rain, thunderstorms and possible freezing rain.

A low of 1 C was expected Wednesday.

The rain is expected to continue overnight but Thursday’s weather will be nearly the complete opposite.

A high of 18 C is forecast with rain in the morning, then a mix of sun and cloud, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. In the evening the temperature could drop again to 1 C.

The normal temperature for this time of year is about 9 C for a high and 1 C for lows.
