Family Day is a big deal in Hamilton as the City and its partners close out the annual Winterfest extravaganza with an action-packed day of art, music, food and fun for the whole family.

The Art Gallery of Hamilton, the ‘Hub’ at Jackson Square will take centre stage to close out the annual festival with events running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At the art gallery participants will be able to get involved with individual art & craft projects as well as a community art project on a grand scale. There will be family movement classes like dance and yoga, face painting, an Indigenous beading workshop, an activity book and of course hot chocolate and snacks for the kid.

At the HUB there will be live music all-day, interactive art and craft making stations, art, video and sound installations, LEGO murals with SunLife and more tasty snacks, with Always Pancakes, hot chocolate, toasted ROMA Pizza and more.

Grab a Family Day Passport and guide at the festival to be sure you take in everything Hamilton Winterfest has to offer. You can also get stamps along the way to be entered to win Winterfest prizes.

With live music, kids activities, pancakes, pizza and loads of interactive experiences Family Day at Hamilton Winterfest is a hit for kids of all ages.

Last year the festival, which has been must-see event in the city for more than 45 years, became a Festival & Events Ontario TOP 100 Festival Award winner.
