A huge organic retailer just opened a new location of their restaurant concept.
Healthy Planet has locations all over Ontario, but now they’ve been opening restaurants. So far, there are Healthy Planet Kitchen locations in Toronto at Yonge and Dundas, Mississauga at Dixie and Dundas, in Etobicoke on Islington, and in Ajax.
The brand has now opened their fifth Healthy Planet Kitchen at their newly renovated location in Oakville.
Healthy Planet Kitchen promises healthy, quick, on-the-go meals made using high quality ingredients. Their website says they use a “slow food approach,” source organic, grass-fed, non-GMO, and high-welfare halal meats, and use techniques like dehydration.
Their menu includes options like smoothies, coffee, tea, cookies, pizza, sandwiches, bowls, wraps, salads and soups. There are also sides like loaded Bombay potatoes with apple lime chutney and baked chicken wings. The items are intended to emphasize nutrient-dense produce high in fibre, protein, iron, and magnesium.
“At Healthy Planet Kitchen, our driving force stems from the understanding that our customers deeply value both the nourishment and excellence of their meals,” shares Healthy Planet Kitchen head chef Maria Mancuso in a press release.
Healthy Planet Kitchen is now open in Oakville at 2501 Hyde Park Gate.
