Fans of the water attractions at Canada’s Wonderland will be excited to learn there’s a humongous new boomerang water slide joining the park this spring.

Dubbed “Moosehorn Falls,” the water park ride is billed as a raft adventure. It should consist of a series of whitewater twists, turns, and drops before you reach the summit of a 13-metre zero-gravity wall.

Moosehorn Falls is named for the Moosehorn Trail in Fundy National Park, New Brunswick, which is known for its waterfalls along the Broad River.

“We want to provide a diverse range of experiences to our guests and make sure we’re offering plenty to see and do,” said Phil Liggett, general manager. “Beyond the roller coasters and thrill rides, we have our 20-acre water park.”

Parkgoers can experience the new Moosehorn Falls ride for the first time when Splash Works opens at Canada’s Wonderland on May 25. The water park also has 18 slides, cliff jumping, water playgrounds and a lazy river (if you’re not as much of a raft adventure type).
