A chain for massive loaded halal sandwiches has only had locations outside of downtown Toronto up until now, but now they’ve just opened a spot that’s a little more central.
Haida serves sandwiches and pizza, but it’s their eye-popping loaded-up sammies that really get people’s attention.
The sub-style sandwiches come piled high with meats including full sausages, as well as cheese, potato sticks and sauces. Of course, their over-the-top menu wouldn’t be complete without burgers and shakes.
The chain has previously only had locations in North York, Richmond Hill, Newmarket and even Vancouver prior to opening closer to downtown Toronto.
Haida celebrated the grand opening of their new midtown location with live music and free juice. The new location also comes complete with a fun new mural.
Haida is now open in midtown Toronto at 2417 Yonge St. near Yonge and Eglinton.
