A chef known for their African dishes and catering business is branching out with a new luxury restaurant and banquet hall ready to serve hungry patrons in Mississauga.

Ameen’s Kitchen just celebrated the grand opening of its new Luxury Restaurant and Event Boutique Hall in Mississauga, offering guests an experience in fine dining and an impressive buffet.

Serving African dishes like Smokey Jollof Rice, Ogbono soup and white rice with Ayamase stew, Ameen’s Kitchen has catered events in Mississauga and Brampton but its new location and restaurant offers an up-scale experience along with an event and banquet hall for special events.

The grand opening features live music and a DJ with Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown on hand cut the ribbon of the new location.

Brown also thanked Ameen’s Kitchen for donating food to asylum claimants and refugees from Africa in Peel Region, like at the Christmas Community Food Drive organized by the Network of Nigerians in Canada.

The restaurant is still getting its website and Skip The Dishes account up and running but you can order from their menu on Uber Eats, or visit Ameen’s Kitchen at 2555 Dixie Road in Mississauga.
