An epic nightclub known for throwing huge parties has closed its doors after almost 20 years of business in Niagara Falls.

Dragonfly was a popular destination for bachelorette parties and all kinds of wild nights out, with bottle service and confetti always popping.

The club was the product of Ink Entertainment, which runs many other popular venues and restaurants in Toronto such as Rebel, Patria, Daphne, Sofia, Cabana Poolbar, Byblos, Bisha Hotel, Amal and Kost. They also have properties in Miami.

Recently, the club took to social media to announce they were closing down.

“The end of an era,” reads the club’s post. “After almost 20 years, the legendary Dragonfly Nightclub is closing its doors.”

The post amassed over 250 likes and lots of comments from people who were sorry to see the nostalgic space go.

“For almost 20 years, Dragonfly was more than just a nightclub—it was a place where unforgettable memories were made, where music brought us together, and where every weekend felt like a celebration,” reads another social media post from Dragonfly.

“To every guest who danced, celebrated, and made Dragonfly their destination, and to the incredible staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring it all to life—we couldn’t have done it without you. Though this chapter has come to an end, the spirit of Dragonfly will live on in the memories we’ve created together. Stay tuned—something new and exciting is coming soon…”

Ink Entertainment is always on the move, often quickly transforming one concept into another, so watch for updates to see what they’re doing next.

The last day for Dragonfly was March 1.
