CLOSURE: A sandwich spot has shuttered its doors in Toronto

A restaurant known for their sandwiches sadly closed their doors recently.
Fattoush Sandwich Club was especially known for their falafel and also served breakfast sandwiches, as well as specials like burgers, fries, poutine, fish sandwiches and roasted veggie sandwiches.
The restaurant took to social media to announce the closure of their shop with a short video.
“This month will be our last service,” reads the caption to the video. “We want to thank you for the support and loyalty for the years since we opened our little shop.”

The video thanks their customers for years of support, and says Fattoush will miss their community.
However, all is not lost for Fattoush fans: both the caption and the video say “stay tuned for what’s next.”
What’s next is Atomic Burger, which a recent post and the new restaurant’s Instagram bio says is “landing spring 2025” so it looks like we won’t be without some Fattoush-like goodness for long.

One post on Atomic Burger’s Instagram page is captioned “052025” which could mean the new spot is slated to open around May. It’s also hashtagged “#greenwoodpark,” which isn’t terribly far from the old Gerrard East location of Fattoush Sandwich Club.
The last day for Fattoush Sandwich Club was March 30.
