Hamilton recently lost a store for Thai rolled ice cream.
Diced Ice dealt in a Thai style of ice cream that’s served in rolled up sheets. They served flavours like Taro Time, Mango Madness and Matcha Magic.
“Our rolled ice cream is made fresh to order and customizable. Endless combinations and toppings makes for a unique experience. It’s a show where we ‘dice’ your flavour into our ice cream base and roll up your very own ice cream, made just for you,” reads the Diced Ice website.
“We’re a small team with flavours inspired from our South East Asian background. You will find Thai Tea, Vietnamese Coffee along with fan favourites like S’mores, Cookie Monster and Strawberry Cheesecake.”

They also served soft serve sundaes with fun toppings, ice cream sandwiches and coffee. Diced Ice took to social media to announce the abrupt closure of their storefront.
“We will be closing our store front here on Locke after 3 amazing years,” reads their post. “We can’t thank the community enough for the support and welcoming us here.”
However, not all is lost for fans of Diced Ice. The business says they hope to be present at events in the future.
“Don’t worry, we will be around for festivals and you will see us in the city in the summer,” reads Diced Ice’s post. “You can’t get rid of us that quickly.”
Diced Ice’s lease was up in February and they decided not to renew.
