CLOSURE: Curry’s has closed down their last physical location in Hamilton

Art store chain Curry’s has closed down their last remaining physical store in Hamilton.

It was once an experience for artists of all levels to walk through the doors of a location of the art shop, physically experiencing all the smells, textures and bright colours of the supplies on offer.

Shoppers can no longer test markers or feel a sketchbook’s paper in person at a Curry’s store. They only had one remaining physical store, and it’s now closed.

The Hamilton store is still listed as open on King Street West on the Curry’s website, but is closed according to Urbanicity which reports the lights are off and a Notice of Distress has been posted in the window.

“We are currently online only at this time,” an online Curry’s representative tells YourCityWithIN.com. The Curry’s rep says that Curry’s continues to ship all over Canada and the US.

Another rep tells YourCityWithIN.com that the Hamilton location is “temporarily closed until further notice but our distribution center is still open and we are fulfilling orders across the country.”
