A furniture store that’s been in business for over 35 years and was a major retailer for a brand that’s been around for over a century is closing its doors.
Manderley Fine Furniture is saying goodbye after decades in business with a huge retirement closing sale.
“After an incredible 35 years in the heart of this most pleasant Mount Pleasant Village, my wife Ilona and I are both thrilled and saddened to announce that we are now ready to embark on a new chapter in our lives,” reads a notice about the closing sale signed by Jim, Ilona, Andrew and Diane.
“With hearts full of cherished memories we are setting our sights on retirement’s new horizons and exciting adventures. Life remains a grand journey, and while we leave behind a place that has been our cherished home, we look eagerly forward to whatever lies ahead. So here’s to new beginnings, laughter, and the joy of discovering what the world has in store for us.”
The notice goes on to say that Manderley will be having their largest sale on in-store stock and new orders, including Stickley furniture as well as Sprout, Hypnos and Marshall mattresses.
“Come in for great deals and share your Stickley stories,” reads the notice.
Manderley Fine Furniture is “hoping to have things wrapped up by summer.”
