CLOSURE: Italian restaurant just shuttered its doors in Hamilton

An Italian restaurant has just closed down one of its locations in Hamilton.
Caro Bambino was the sibling restaurant of Caro on James, and was located on Ottawa Street for seven years.
Caro serves Italian staples like classic apps, pizza, pasta and sandwiches with options like chicken parm or porchetta. They also serve beer, wine and cocktails.
Now, the owners have had to say goodbye to their Ottawa Street location.
“With heavy hearts, we want to share that Caro Bambino on Ottawa Street has closed its doors. It has been a long road to get here, and like so many small businesses, we’ve faced our share of challenges over the past few years. The restaurant industry has been tested in ways we never could have imagined, and while we’ve done everything we can to stay afloat, this chapter has sadly come to an end,” reads a post on social media.
“Though this location is closed, this isn’t goodbye. We would love to continue welcoming you at Caro on James, where you’ll find the same warmth, and of course, delicious food.”
