CLOSURE: Juice bar just closed the doors of their space in Toronto

A health food store and juice bar selling organic foods and produce is closing up shop at their space.
Esra’s Market specialized in Sudanese-style juices and vegan-friendly options, and not only supported their community by keeping them healthy, but also by organizing many mutual aid initiatives.
Now, they’ve suddenly shut their store down.
“Dear Esra’s Market Family, With a heavy heart, we want to share that Esra’s Market will be closing its doors. This space has been more than just a juice bar—it has been a home, a gathering place, and a reflection of the love and energy this community has poured into it,” reads a post on Esra’s social media simply signed “The Family.”
“Thank you for being part of this beautiful experience. For supporting, showing up, and making Esra’s what it is. While our doors may be closing, this isn’t goodbye—it’s just a shift.”

The post goes on to say that the team behind Esra’s hopes to launch an online shop soon so fans of theirs can continue to access the kinds of healthy products the store was known for.
The post has almost a hundred likes and comments on Instagram, with many commenting they’re sorry and brokenhearted to see the space go, but that they hope this is the beginning of a new chapter.
The last day open for the Esra’s Market store was Sunday, March 30.
