Pub chain Fox and Fiddle just recently shut down one of their Toronto locations, and now they’ve announced another one has bit the dust.
Fox and Fiddle is known for their accessible menu of bar food and casual atmosphere, but now Toronto has been losing locations of the chain.
The pub just recently announced that their Wellesley location had shut down after 15 years at the end of 2024, and now they’ve posted on social media that another location has closed.
Fox and Fiddle’s location at CityPlace is no more. The Instagram account for the location has been wiped clean with the exception of a single post, and the bio for the page simply reads, “The End of an Era.”

The sole post on the page is addressed to the Fox CityPlace community.
“Serving the vibrant Fort York community has been an incredible journey, filled with unforgettable memories and meaningful connections. We will forever cherish the moments we’ve shared together—laughter, celebrations, and the countless good times that have made Fox CityPlace so special,” reads the post.
“Thank you for your unwavering support over the years. It has truly meant the world to us. We wish you all the best and hope our paths cross again soon.”
The last day for Fox and Fiddle’s CityPlace location was Jan. 5.
