CLOSURE: Restaurant for Detroit pizza just shut down in Toronto

A restaurant known for their rectangular Detroit pizza has just shut down their only physical location in Toronto.
Oswald’s Pizza once had a home at a food hall called Chef’s Hall, but now they’ve said goodbye to that space.
It actually wasn’t the pizzeria itself, but the food hall that made an official announcement on social media letting people know the restaurant outpost had closed, though they didn’t share many details.

“Sad to see you go,” the post said simply. “We’ll miss you!”
The post didn’t share an exact closure date, but the food hall did respond to someone’s comment asking if the last day for Oswald’s had already happened, saying that they were already closed.

Fortunately for fans of Oswald’s, while the Chef’s Hall spot has closed, they’re still operating as a business and are available for catering, operating out of Encore Catering in North York. Chef’s Hall still has lots of vendors open selling food like Italian, Japanese, tacos and subs.
Oswald’s shuttered at Chef’s Hall around the beginning of January.
