A local restaurant chain serving quick Southeast Asian eats just closed down a location in one of Toronto’s busiest areas.
Basil Box is known for their menu of Southeast Asian eats that’s quick and convenient to eat in the fast casual restaurant or grab and go. They serve dishes like spring rolls, bao and pad thai, as well as customizable boxes you can build with your own choice of components.
A sign in the window of Basil Box at Queen and Spadina announced they had closed.
The sign advises people to visit the nearest Basil Box locations at 410 Bathurst St. and 351 Yonge St.
They also have locations at Royal Bank Plaza, Toronto General Hospital, Yonge and Finch, York University and Oakville. There are even Basil Box locations in Ottawa and Edmonton.
Basil Box also closed at Square One recently and is now being replaced by Potato Corner.
The last day for Basil Box at Queen and Spadina was Sept. 27.
