A Toronto restaurant for Turkish cuisine has announced that they’re now closing their doors.
Barans was known for their big, splashy space which they filled with diners eating Turkish food and celebrating. They had an energetic atmosphere with regular entertainment, and served up massive feasts including an all-you-can-eat unlimited meat menu. They were located at 2043 Eglinton Ave. E.
The restaurant has posted a message to social media saying thank you and goodbye.
“Seven years ago, when we opened our doors in Toronto, our dream was not just to create a restaurant but to build a home filled with music, joy, and unforgettable flavors. Over the years, we’ve shared laughter, created lasting memories, and formed incredible friendships,” reads the message.
“Meeting you, our cherished guests, at the table, nourishing our souls with the exceptional performances of talented artists, and growing this family with the dedication of our amazing team has been an indescribable joy for us. However, as with every beautiful story, ours too must come to an end. It’s time for us to set sail for new adventures. Making this decision was far from easy, but we are proud of the unique memories we leave behind.”
