Restaurants and food businesses that closed this month will be missed by the neighbourhoods they once called home. Here are a few that sadly won’t see winter.
This Turkish restaurant won’t be bringing lively music events to Queen Street West any longer. They announced their closure suddenly on social media this month.
Once located in the Omni King Edward, this cafe at the hotel abruptly shut down in September, leaving a sign up in their window as a notice they had closed. It was the only downtown Toronto location for the Presse Cafe chain.
The Eglinton location of this family bakery shut down during September. Thankfully they can still be visited at their Annex location on Dupont for sourdough, pastries and other baked goods.
