Restaurants that closed in March left gaping holes in many neighbourhoods. While it’s sad to see a Mexican restaurant, a French spot, burgers, bars and more go, at least we can dream about the exciting things that may take their place.
This Michelin-level restaurant for plant-based Mexican creations closed down mid-month in the Little Italy area.
Around the turn of the month, this funky restaurant serving Italian food and brunch announced on social media they had closed their doors.
After many years and many beers, this laid-back pub announced that it would be shutting down at the beginning of March.
This source for piled-high burgers closed their doors around the middle of the month, but they’ve joined forces with their affiliated brand Knockout Chicken in the same neighbourhood of Kensington Market.
About two weeks into the month, Leslieville sadly had to say goodbye to this longstanding beloved French restaurant.
The end of the month saw the closure of this bar and bottle shop that served up cute plates.
