Creative holiday activities coming to Brampton libraries

Families and residents can celebrate the holidays with a variety of fun and creative activities happening in December at libraries in Brampton.
The Brampton Library is bringing back its 12 Days of Creativity programs, which teach you how to make your own holiday cards, gift tags and stickers, wrapping paper, ornaments, collages, and paper wreaths.
Residents are also invited to visit the libraries’ makerspaces for free use of the 3D printers, vinyl cutters, and button makers for personal projects.
Here’s what’s happening and when:
- Holiday Card Extravaganza: Four Corners on Saturday, December 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- DIY Gift Tags and Stickers: Mount Pleasant Village on Monday, December 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Wrap It Up with Wow: DIY Wrapping Paper with Visual Arts Brampton: Four Corners on Wednesday, December 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Ornamentation Station: Create Your Own Keepsakes: Gore Meadows on Friday, December 8 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Collaging Cheerful Gifts with Megha: Four Corners on Sunday, December 10 from 1:30 from 4 p.m.
- Paper Wreaths: Deck the Walls: South West on Tuesday, December 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Makerspace: Want to use the makerspace, but not sure where to start? Try one of the introductory programs for 3D Printing, Digitizing Photos and Video, and more
- Newcomer Bus Tour: New to Brampton? Hop on the Newcomer Bus and enjoy the sights at the Springdale Branch on December 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and December 7 from 6 to 9 p.m.
With positive reception from the community in the past, the Brampton Library is bringing these events back for another holiday season of creative arts and crafts.
