If you love cookies, Mississauga is the place to be right now. It’s now home to the first and only two locations of Crumbl Cookies in the entire province.
Mississauga already had a location of Crumbl Cookies at Heartland, but now they’ve been absolutely spoiled with the recent opening of a Dixie location.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Crumbl has been going viral for their signature pink sugar cookies served in cute pink boxes, and their rotating cookie flavours have been taking over the bakery world. They now have over 1,000 locations across the United States, plus Canada and Puerto Rico (and yet, we’re still waiting for our downtown Toronto location to open at The Well).
Crumbl is celebrating the opening with a limited time promotion where you can get a free chocolate chip cookie from the new Dixie location by downloading the Crumbl app.
The new store is owned by friends Tobias Harris and Charles Terry who met working out at the gym and developed a dream of opening some kind of franchise together.
“Crumbl has been a brand that is well represented in the community and in the homes of thousands of families,” Tobias says in a press release.
“Crumbl not only emulates our energy but enhances the fact that we can provide a positive impact to the community and also give a product that makes everyone happy.”
“Tobias told me about Crumbl from trying it out a couple years ago in Orlando. Tobias, who low-key enjoys his sweets, called me after and said, ‘I found the one,'” Charles says in a press release.
“He was not only sold from the taste of the cookies but what it represented: family and community togetherness. He saw a brand that represented the same values we stand for in business: good service, quality product and a great energy. After I heard about the brand I had to do my research and volunteered at the Crumbl in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Immediately after my first day I knew that this was the brand for us.”
Crumbl in the Creekside Crossing shopping mall at 1482 Dundas St. E. had its grand opening on May 31.
