Internationally famous French patisserie Laduree has just opened their newest downtown Toronto location.

The patisserie is renowned for its macarons, but also makes many other stunning sweet treats and serves tea cafe fare. In addition to their baked goods, their interior is as beautiful as they are, decorated with all sorts of pastel colours and fancy frills.

The origins of the brand extend all the way back to 1862 when Louis Ernest Laduree opened a bakery in Paris.

Laduree already has locations at Yorkdale and Exchange Tower, as well as in Vancouver on Robson Street. They also do various pop-ups.

Now, they’ve opened up a brand new Toronto location in Yorkville. Posts announcing the opening this week garnered nearly 500 likes on Instagram.

The location has a more slimmed down menu like the Exchange Tower location, as opposed to the Yorkville location which has a fuller menu with more food offerings. On the Yorkville location menu, you’ll find Laduree’s signature macarons and Eugenie cookies, plus pastries, cakes, and cafe beverages like espresso-based drinks, signature lattes, tea and hot chocolate.

Laduree’s Yorkville location is now open at 162 Cumberland St.
