Farm Boy is opening their second location in Burlington in just a few days.
When it opens, the store will be their 50th in Canada. The opening comes on the heels of a recent Farm Boy opening in Mississauga.
Farm Boy has become known for its wide selection of specialty offerings including their own brand’s line of products. They also carry local organic produce, hormone-free meats, grab and go items, a hot bar, a salad bar, local and international cheeses, and Canadian beef, pork and chicken.
The new Farm Boy in Burlington is taking up residence in the former Pier 1 Imports space near Burlington Centre. The grocery chain already has another store in Burlington at 3061 Walkers Line.
Farm Boy first opened in 1981 and is owned by Sobey’s, and has spread across the country to become the empire it is today.
“This new location emphasizes our commitment to delivering fresh, quality products, exceptional value, and unparalleled customer service while fostering a deep connection with the local community,” reads a statement released by Farm Boy.
Farm Boy’s new Burlington location will be opening at 3230 Fairview St. on Aug. 15.
