First ever location of Jersey Mike’s opening this week in Toronto

Toronto’s first ever Jersey Mike’s location is slated to open this week to the delight of sandwich fans.
Jersey Mike’s is known for their hearty sub sandwiches that are made with fresh sliced meats and assembled in seconds. The brand has become popular in the United States, and now they’ve been crossing over into Canada, opening locations in Ontario. There are currently over 4,000 Jersey Mike’s restaurants open and in development.
The first locations of Jersey Mike’s in Ontario opened outside Toronto in Kitchener and London, but the brand has been creeping closer to downtown Toronto. In August, they opened their first store in the GTA in Markham.
For the grand opening of their first ever Toronto store in York Mills, Jersey Mike’s is planning some special celebrations for the first few days. Customers can get special fundraising coupons good for a regular sub in exchange for a minimum $3 contribution to Make-A-Wish Canada.
You can also download the Jersey Mike’s app and make an in-app sub purchase to get a free regular sub, and the first 100 people at the grand opening will get a free Jersey Mike’s drawstring sports pack.
The Markham and York Mills Jersey Mike’s locations are the first two of six planned new stores opening in Ontario. They’re also planning on opening new locations in Brantford, Guelph and Pickering.
Most excitingly, Jersey Mike’s will be opening their first ever downtown Toronto location at Union Station in December.
The brand has been brought to Canada by Redberry, which is planning to open 300 Jersey Mike’s restaurants in the country.

Jersey Mike’s at 808 York Mills Rd. is opening on Oct. 23.
