First international location for Nashville-style fried chicken chain has opened in Toronto

A premier southern U.S. fried chicken chain just opened its first international location in Toronto.
The Original Hot Chicken — a Nashville-style food chain — had its grand opening at the bustling intersection of Carlton and Yonge Streets in downtown Toronto.
Brand representatives have indicated that the 900-square-foot location is purpose-built for both dine-in and take-out services.
“The Original Hot Chicken’s vibrant menu and engaging guest experience are a perfect fit for the Canadian market,” said Aziz Hashim, founder and CEO of the chain’s parent company Experiential Brands in an official statement.
According to information from brand representatives, The Original Hot Chicken offers a menu built on pickle-brined, cornflake-rolled hot chicken that is sure to satisfy anyone looking for a little spice this winter.
According to information collected via U.S. locations, some of the most popular items include chicken sandwiches, tender baskets and wings.
