The only thing better than playing pickleball and drinking wine is getting to do both for free.

Every Thursday night in July there will be free wine and pickleball for the Saintly Series, created by Saintly Wine and pickleball project Fairgrounds.

On certain Thursdays in July, you can play pickleball for free at one of two Fairgrounds locations while sipping alcoholic or non-alcoholic wines as a DJ plays.

The wines on offer will all be from Saintly, and should include options like Sauvignon Blanc, rosé, sparkling wine, sparkling rosé wine and their alcohol-free HeavenSent rosé.

The Sauvignon Blanc is described as dry, fresh and fruity with notes of gooseberry, grapefruit and lemon, and the rosé is clean and crisp with notes of raspberry, strawberry and lime. The sparkling is delicate with notes of peach and pear, the sparkling rosé has peach, lime and floral notes, and their HeavenSent alcohol-free rosé is refreshing with notes of lychee.

The event is taking place at the Assembly Park location at 80 Interchange Way in Concord on July 4 and 11, and the Cloverdale location at 250 The East Mall in Toronto on July 18 and 25. All sessions run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

While the event is free, take care to book online in advance by becoming a Fairgrounds member for free.
