Globally acclaimed Chinese restaurant opening soon in Toronto

An upscale Chinese restaurant that’s known around the world has announced they’ll be opening very soon in Toronto.
Mott 32 is famed for their innovative takes on traditional Chinese cuisine and creating a luxurious dining experience with excellent service, as well as being the world’s most awarded Chinese restaurant.
Their new location at the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto will be their third in North America and their ninth in the world. Mott 32 has locations in Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Cebu, Vancouver, Bangkok and Seoul.
The Toronto location will be decked out with an ultra-luxe interior that draws inspiration from both Chinese traditions and contemporary design.
As for the menu, expect signature dim sum and reinventions of classic Chinese dishes. That should include options like crispy triple cooked beef short rib, Maine lobster fried rice and smoked black cod. One of their star dishes is their applewood roasted Peking duck, aged for 42 days for enhanced richness and a crispy skin.
For dessert, there’s the rose and Valrhona white chocolate panna cotta. When it comes to drinks, you can try their Hong Kong Iced Tea with tequila, Lillet Blanc and blackcurrant jasmine tea, or the Forbidden Rose with vanilla-infused pisco, lemon, lychee, chili, passion fruit and dehydrated rose.

Mott 32 has confirmed they are officially opening in Toronto at the Shangri-La Hotel in late spring 2024.
