Two pumpkin trails are coming to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, one for adults and one for families.

RBG After Dark: Pumpkin Trail is a 19-plus event for adults taking over Hendrie Park. Candlelit Jack-O-Lanterns will light the way along the dark trail path with the park made over into an eerie Halloween-themed area.

Music, entertainment, pumpkin-themed activities and and food will be present at this event, along with adult beverages. Entertainment will include a “fire circus” and live pumpkin carving, and there will also be a photo booth. You’re encouraged to dress up in your creepiest costume.

RBG After Dark: Pumpkin Trail takes place on Oct. 24 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and tickets are available online for $27.

Also at Royal Botanical Gardens, the Great Pumpkin Trail is a family-oriented event. For this event, paths in Hendrie Park will also be lit up with Jack-O-Lanterns, and family-friendly food and beverages will be available.

Take care to note strollers and wagons are not recommended on the trail as only a portion of the trail is wheelchair accessible and stroller-friendly.

The Great Pumpkin Trail will take place Oct. 18 to 20 and again from Oct. 25 to 27 starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $27 for adults, $20 for children ages three to 12, and free for children under the age of two.
