One of the creepiest traditions at Canada’s Wonderland is returning for another year.

Halloween Haunt and Camp Spooky are starting up soon at the theme park, even though it’s not even October yet. Halloween Haunt will feature six mazes this year, including the new Demons of the Deep.

There will also be seven “scare zones” with hundreds of monsters, there will be live entertainment including fire performances, and you’ll be able to go on rides at night.

Demons of the Deep is modelled after a creepy abandoned underwater lab, where you might just encounter some horrifying creatures and experiments gone wrong.

The best part is, there will be fun new Halloween-themed food. This year there will be a new Zombie Apple Fritter as well as a Witches Brew blood bag cocktail. Other menu items are the Witches’ Poutine with nacho cheese, sour cream, and jerk chicken, the footlong Medieval Dungeon Dog topped with spicy chili, cheese, and crispy onions, the Junkyard Chicken Sausage with spicy sriracha aioli and pickled veggies, and Bear Bites smoked chicken sandwiches with a fried egg, avocado, and aioli.

There are desserts other than the Zombie Apple Fritters served with vanilla ice cream, too: there will also be Dirt and Worms Funnel Cake topped with chocolate sauce, Oreo crumbles, and gummy worms, and the Graveyard Parfait that tops chocolate pudding with gummy worms.

The Witches Brew blood bag cocktail is made with sweet and sour mix, tequila, blood orange syrup and edible glitter. There will also be a mocktail on offer, the Vampire’s Kiss with lemonade, cherry syrup, vanilla and edible glitter.

There’s also a fun interactive lantern you can get at Halloween Haunt this year that interacts with 50 features at Canada’s Wonderland.

Halloween Haunt is recommended for kids above the age of 13. If you’re looking for some seasonal family fun that’s scare-free and more appropriate for little ones, there’s Camp Spooky. The daytime event includes The Peanuts, costume parties, trick-or-treating and live entertainment and is included with park admission.

If you’ve got a Gold Pass, Halloween Haunt is included with that, otherwise you need to purchase a separate ticket for this event. Haunt admission starts at $44.99.

Halloween Haunt takes place select nights Sept. 27 to Nov. 2, and Camp Spooky takes place weekends Sept. 28 to Nov. 2.
